Christian Therapist via Zoom

A whole-person, Christian framework for therapy.

Who This is For

Built for adults who want their faith and their therapy to actually talk to each other

You're a Christian who takes both your faith and your mental health seriously. You're tired of two options that don't work:

Secular therapy that treats your faith as either irrelevant or a problem to be managed.

"Biblical counseling" that's heavy on scripture quoting and light on clinical training—where every issue gets prayed about, but nothing actually changes.

You want both. Real psychological depth. Real biblical grounding. And the convenience of meeting wherever you happen to be that week.

That's what this is.

What's Different About This Work

A whole-person approach to faith-integrated therapy

Most counseling falls into one of two traps:

The first trap treats your inner life as a series of unrelated problems—an anxiety problem here, a marriage problem there, a behavior to extinguish over there. Symptoms get managed, but the root keeps producing new symptoms.

The second trap collapses everything into a single dimension—usually theological or behavioral—and misses what's happening in your body, your nervous system, your relationships, and your story.

Our work integrates the dimensions most therapy splits apart:

  • The psychological—how your patterns formed and how to interrupt them

  • The physiological—what your body and nervous system are doing under the hood

  • The relational—how your closest relationships shape and are shaped by your inner life

  • The spiritual—how faith, formation, and meaning are part of healing, not separate from it

You don't need a therapist who quotes scripture at you. You need one who understands how all of this fits together.

About Brian Bachman, LPC

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) — Missouri

  • 10 years of clinical experience

  • Author of Turn Off Porn (Bachman Publishing, 2026)

  • Host of The Knowing Jesus Podcast

  • MA, Covenant Theological Seminary

  • Trained in trauma-informed and whole-person approaches

The work I do brings together my clinical training, my theological education, and my own faith and recovery journey. I'm not a pastor doing therapy. I'm not a therapist who happens to be Christian. I'm a clinician whose framework is shaped by Christian theology and decades of clinical experience—both of which inform how I help clients understand what they're actually navigating.
