Why this page exists

Privacy matters most when the rest of life is visible.

A private concern can coexist with a successful career, family leadership, community involvement, or a life that looks stable from the outside. New Pathways is built for that reality: no assumption that your whole life is broken, and no need to turn a specific problem into an indefinite treatment identity.

The work begins with a defined target and a candid discussion of what meaningful progress would look like. Private pay means New Pathways does not accept or bill insurance. Standard professional confidentiality applies; no counseling arrangement can promise absolute anonymity.

Access from the central corridor

One Ballwin office—not a claimed local branch.

New Pathways Counseling is located at 625 N Meramec Station Rd in Ballwin. There is no Ladue, Frontenac, or Town and Country office. Clients from these communities may meet in Ballwin, use Missouri telehealth, or ask whether a limited $375 on-site session at an appropriate public or professional office is workable.

Office or telehealth

$275 for 50 minutes.

Limited on-site

$375 for 50 minutes when location and circumstances are appropriate.

Typical cadence

Often biweekly or monthly, shaped around the goal rather than a default weekly schedule.

Designed for focused work

A practice for clients who want movement, not indefinite maintenance.

The right client is stable enough for outpatient work, able to name a meaningful target, and willing to examine choices, patterns, history, relationships, and values directly.

Often a fit

  • High responsibility with one private concern
  • A need for discretion and directness
  • A specific behavior, memory, or pattern
  • Private-pay counseling by choice

Not the structure

  • Acute crisis or emergency response
  • Medication or psychiatric management
  • Court-mandated evaluation
  • Broad support without a defined goal
